Museum Series: Pinto Art Musuem – Fall In Love with Art, Nature and Food

It was in May 18, 2015, International Museum Day, when we set foot and, I can very well say, fell in love with The Pinto Art Museum in Antipolo.

Pinto Art Museum - this is probably going to be the first photo you'd take when you get there.

It is a 1.3-acre property that houses hundreds of artwork – from painting, sculpture, mixed media, photography, and I hope soon, some poetry.

There are numerous galleries, and there are works of art outside of the galleries that sometimes go unnoticed.

The captions in the photos are words penned by the author (Migz Hernandez), and should not be reproduced without due credits.

For it’s written in our history,

Anyone can easily spend an entire day there, as every corner is worthy of appreciation. Even in the heat of the sun, we marveled in awe at the great talent that stood before us in display at Pinto.

Allow me to share the photos we captured there, and to share the feelings these have invoked, through my humble verses:

Pinto Art Museum "I study you, unbeknownst to me That I you've already searched My reverie."

“I study you, unbeknownst to me
That you’ve already searched

Pinto Art Museum - "I gave you my heart Yet you ripped it apart You should have just refused But then you were confused Between falling in love, and moving on For I was simply.. your rebound."

Yet you ripped it apart
You should have just refused
But then you were confused
Between falling in love, and moving on
For I was simply.. your rebound.”

Pinto Art Museum - "I got a phone call. They said you weren't wearing your helmet. I froze. Then finally I asked, How's the bike?"

Those are just some of the paintings you can admire (and buy – something I have failed to ask) when in Pinto. This October, in celebration of Museums of Galleries month, and even in the months after that, it’s always good to be lost in a museum.

What are you waiting for? Get on your car, or your favorite Van going to Antipolo and knock on the pinto of Pinto!
